No love is more intense than the love between Lucas Roth and his weed. Today, he reaches our site to share a love ballad to Ms. Mary Jane. The new track is “Need You (Mary Jane)” and it is very much creative. Of course, it has marijuana-inspired lyrics to match up to this bangin’ beat from producer Stewart Hidalgo. This track takes you through a musical journey of instrumentation, upbeat drums and heavy 808s with some bubbly action up front.
“My producer asked me one day, ‘Why haven’t you made any weed tracks yet? You’re one of the biggest stoners I know.’ And wallah – this is what came to fruition. We’ll definitely be making more,” said Roth.
So far, the Detroit native has released an album, seven singles and several music videos. More tracks and visuals are always in the works as Roth continues to create an audience with his multi- genre approach to hip-hop. Check out the new song below!
