Spotify and Gimlet Media came together to celebrate the life and times of Reggie Ossé, known by many of his fans as Combat Jack. BRIC Arts Media, located in downtown Brooklyn, New York, set the tone as the perfect place for the family and friends of the Crown Heights native to share their stories and experiences about the late father, brother, Hip-Hop pioneer and former for the latest installment of the Hip-Hop storytelling podcast Mogul with new host Brandon ‘Jinx’ Jenkins.
Throughout the world of Hip-Hop within the last ten years, there has been a big shift in how we receive Hip-Hop media, and The Combat Jack podcast creators will forever go down in history as being the Obamas (read: the first of their kind) of Hip-Hop podcasting. Their blueprint continues to influence and inspire many of us to this day.
