Last Wednesday night the entire case of VH1’s new season of “Black Ink Crew,” KP, Kyla Pratt, Lemeir Mitchell, Nessie Blaze, Ink Drippin, Vudu Dahl, Tim and Barbie, were joined by celebrities from the hip-hop and R&B world A1 Bentley, Brittany B, Leeb Godchild, Adrian Marcel, Katt, Una, Jane Handcock, Apple Watts and Chef Flip P for a star-studded premiere that celebrated the epic new show based in Compton. The compelling reality show “Black Ink Crew: COMPTON” profiles the founders and staff of Compton’s first Black-owned tattoo shop and arts collective as they adorn the skin of LA with incredible art pieces while experiencing life’s trials and triumphs in the midst of the complex politics of their city.
