Instead of folding under pressure, he used his failures and disappointments to grow as an creative artist. Jo$e uses his life story as a motivational tool to inspire his music. He strives to be very transparent and authentic in everything he does. The Panamanian decent artist enjoys using music as a outlet to express himself and be relate to his supporters and peers. He began making music to share and uniquely tell his stories and reflect on previous situations that he has overcome. Through this, Jo$e Rivera, has perfected a strong yet unique voice, with the ability to create a vibe through his lyrics.His supporters appreciated this use of creative lyricism. The positive feedback from his last project, encouraged him to take it up a notch by creating catchy cleverly-written bars. When he composed a third mix-tape, entitled, Becoming Legendary; this project showed his growth and commitment as a independent artist on the rise.
Jo$e Rivera, is working on his fourth project and follow-up tape titled, “Becoming Legendary II – Dreams Never Die”. The forthcoming tape tells an intriguing story on how to chase your dreams no matter what life throws at you. Rivera has been able to collaborate with Mickey Factz, Curtis Williams – Two9, Jace – Two9, Euro Gotit and Kur on the project. He briefly explains what his creative process entails;
“My creative process was the TV on mute with a movie and something to sip on and listening to the beat for about 30 mins and then I wrote my verse. The real message is people think like this all the time. What we have to do as men is control our emotions but if things escalate to were we have to use this type of force then you have to be ready. I want my listeners to know that I am a confident rapper who isn’t afraid to address any issue whether is positive or negative. I also want my listeners to know that I dedicate myself in perfecting the best verse on every record I record.”
