Taking up the “Feed the Homeless” challenge, Seattle hip-hop artist Lil Pwn is giving back in a major way. Preparing lunch bags with homemade ham and cheese sandwiches, juice boxes, fruit and twinkies, he can be seen on camera handing out food on skid row.
Since moving to his new home of Hollywood, California and seeing how bad the homeless problem was in downtown LA, Lil Pwn was compelled to help. stranger to poverty. Growing up in the low income neighborhood of Port Orchard in Seattle, he can relate to the struggle of trying to survive. His survival skills have allowed him to see things from a different perspective.
In the video above you will see the Seattle native in his natural element on Skid Row. His fearlessness and desire to be different as an artist is most impressive. There is so much glitz and glamor in Los Angeles, and sometimes the poverty issue gets over looked.
Lil Pwn hopes to change the culture with his influence and raw talent. Click here to checkout some on his music.
