South Central recording artist SixSev just dropped his debut project, Sevshaw. The project entails Sev’s perspective as a community leader fighting against issues we all may face: gentrification, stereotypes, and gravity. The 13-track offering boasts features from Correy C, Yung Kazi, Danielle Davis, and more. Production is handled by the likes of Mike Almighty, Walt Mansa, DJ Smiley, and more.
Sevshaw arrives on the heels of Sixsev’s birthday. It includes pre-release singles like “Rodney King” and “Dance With Me.” Recently, RESPECT. sat down with Sev to talk about his goals for the release. “I hope it gets the real recognition it deserves because I put everything into it. I’ve been recording music for five years and I put all that content into this one tape.”
