Singer-songwriter Gallant just dropped his latest single, “Crimes.” Today, Zane Lowe exclusively premiered the Stint-produced song on Apple Music’s Beats 1 Radio. The soulful song spotlights the wrongdoings of Gallant’s partner as he sings: “Can’t keep overlookin’ all your crimes / You keep tellin’ me what’s yours is mine, but you lie.” Check out “Crimes” below.
“Crimes” arrives months after “Sharpest Edges,” which is also produced by Stint. In 2016, Gallant saw commercial success with his Grammy-nominated album Ology. Standout cuts like “Weight In Gold” and “Bourbon” helped establish the Maryland-native as a top-tier R&B songster. Gallant hopes to follow-up to the 2016 release later this year.
Additionally, Gallant is slated to make a musical contribution to Steven Universe: The Movie. He will be joining acts such as Chance The Rapper, Estelle, James Fauntleroy, and many more for the Cartoon Network show this Fall.
