Memphis rapper NLE Choppa has had an undeniably successful year thanks to his solo single, “Shotta Flow.” The teen rapper initially gained buzz with the December 2018 track “No Chorus Pt. 3” under Shotta Fam. The Midas 800-produced track picked up the attention of vloggers, publications, and most importantly, record labels alike. Today, NLE announced his latest deal with Warner Records. The joint venture is between Choppa’s No Love Entertainment and of course, Warner. Previously Choppa turned down a $3 million bid and signed a deal with Steve Stoute‘s independent distribution company United Masters.
Last month, NLE Choppa flipped YoungBoy Never Broke Again‘s “FREE DDAWG” and dropped his latest single, “Free YoungBoy.” The track currently sits at 7 million Youtube views and arrives just a month removed from his “Shotta Flow” remix with Blueface. The Lyrical Lemonade-directed video serves as the first collaboration between the two buzzing artists.
