IDK is full steam ahead, following his recent alignment with Warner Records. Following “Digital” comes a new single from the Maryland emcee titled “24,” which he explained during its premiere via Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s Beats 1:
You know, I speak on what they like to call, the root of all evil, you know, money. I’m bragging about what they call the root of evil, you feel what I’m saying? That’s the easiest way to put it without saying too much, because one of the things I want to do is, I want to let people listen to it and get what they get from it. For the most part you feel me? But I’m trying to also let people know like, look man, because you know me, I’m not like a big flash, my money type of dude. You know, I’m not the type of dude that talks shit about money all the time and things like that, but in this song, you know, that’s what I wanted to do to prove that particular point. And if when you listen to it, you’ll interpret what the point is.
He also revealed that the official visual for the record will be making landfall sooner than you think. In the meantime, check out both his FaceTime interview with Lowe and the new single below.
