This weekend, New York recording artist Kai Ca$h dropped his debut extended play, Birth In The Borough. It follows a number of successful singles including “Tamia” and “The West.” The nine-track offering contains guest appearances from high-profile rappers like Pusha T and lesser-known artists like MoThoro and K Wales. Production can be heard from the likes of Tank God, Niko Brim, and Rob Holladay, who recently produced 2 Chainz‘s “Rule The World.”
“[The project] is my soundtrack for me being back home. It’s a personal experience from creator to consumer, just giving you bits and pieces of my [life],” the press statement reads. Each track walks you through a different piece of Kai’s life, storytelling at its finest. Back in January 2018, Ca$h released “400°,” which caught the eyes of labels alike. Check out the album below.
