If you’re like me you know a few things in life are certain; death, taxes, and Nick Cannon getting another job on top of the 5 he has. Host, producer, actor, writer, director, singer, you see where I’m going, Nick, Friday afternoon was officially announced as the host for Los Angeles’ Power 106 new morning show titled ‘Nick Cannon Mornings‘.

Cannon’s first show aired earlier this morning,
I want people to understand that I’m HOME! As exciting as it is, this is the new show, I’m here every single morning rocking just regular. I’m not one of those dudes that needs an intro party-want to make sure everybody knows that I’m your guy!@NickCannon #NickCannonMornings pic.twitter.com/sL970H8PfJ

When asked about the new show last Friday Cannon stated, “Power 106 is one of the most substantial fixtures in our hip hop culture that has proven time and time again that they are #1 and not going anywhere!” Cannon stated about this new professional venture. “Los Angeles is used to star players joining star franchises! I’m just honored for the opportunity to make our community and culture proud. All I can say is, it’s Ncredible!”
Power 106’s previous morning show was the “Cruz Show”, hosted by J Cruz, who has now moved to rival station Real 92.3. He took over the morning slot as radio host Big Boy moved to Real 92.3 after nearly two decades of work at Power 106. With Cannon as their new host Power is certainly looking to make a statement.
Program Director for Power 106, E-Man, believes, “Nick Cannon is that fresh sound we were looking for on Power 106. Nick is an incredible entertainer who embodies hip hop, pop culture, comedy, and community all in one! We are very excited to have him on our team.”
Cannon will remain the host of MTV’s ‘Wild ’N Out‘ and continue to host Fox’s hit show ‘The Masked Singer’, in addition to developing a weekly late nite show for Fox. In other words, Nick Cannon will continue to get the bag.
