Crown Heights native rapper, KING P, unleashes brand new music to kick off summer 2019.
With both records, “Live it up”, and “Hank McCoy” being two of his leading singles, KING P is willing to stop at nothing to make it to the top. The rapper is known and respected, by his fans, for embracing the new school, while still making records reminiscent of the old school.
“I literally love music, always had a knack for writing and performing, just loved that feeling, loved the feeling of people vibing with my vibe”.
“Hank McCoy” being one of P’s top singles was released on June 10th ,2019 and the streaming platforms can’t get enough, with nearly 3,000 streams on both Spotify and Apple Music combined. However KING P didn’t stop there. On the very same day he released his visuals on YouTube and his fans have since blown it up. As most know, Hank McCoy is a character in X-men. He’s a beast who just wants to be a normal person but can’t run from the fact that he’s different, he’s a beast. KING P used that as his way of telling the world he’s different but in this case he’s the greatest of all time or the G.O.A.T. As seen in the visuals KING P makes himself a potion to keep himself great that eventually turns him into “Hank McCoy; The Beast.”.
KING P’s leading single “Live it up” was released on May 1st, 2019 and has hit nearly 30k views on both Spotify and Apple Music.
Within 24 hours of the songs release, it was placed on Spotify’s Most Popular playlist and remained there for several days. P
released this song with the intention of it being the “summer anthem”. He speaks about him celebrating life.
“I’m just thankful for everything that has transpired, so at this point, I’m enjoying and living life to the fullest!”.
KING P has not yet released the visuals for this song but they are beginning to film on Saturday June 29th, 2019. Filming will take place in mainly in one of his favorite places in the world Coney Island in his hometown of Brooklyn, NYC.
