On this record, you will hear the Nigerian native describing a woman who sets his soul on fire. Some notable lyrics from this single are “Careless, when she moves I’m a fool oh baby”. Co-produced by fellow alte frontrunners Le Mav, and Odunsi The Engine, “Paris” is the first offering from his forthcoming DNT DLT mixtape. This project is scheduled to be released July 30th, with distribution from Apple’s Platoon.
One thing that stands out the most on this single is that, it makes you feel like your on a romantic date in “Paris”. AYLØ’s silky, harmonious vocals, create a raspy R&B vibe the grown and sexy can appreciate. From beginning to end this record sends your ears into musical bliss. The inspiration and message behind this song is just as impressive as its lyrics.
“Paris is about finding beauty in everything. Beauty is in our damage and in our stories. Paradise is what you make it” stated the MC. “Paris” is the subject’s favorite city, so hence the concept of it. Beauty, if in, is out, and as above, so below. Me never having been to Paris, it would not matter because I have found paradise in Lagos, right now in this moment.”
With conscious flows, and a stellar production team, AYLØ is well on his way to infinite success. Press play below to stream his latest release “Paris“.
