In my opinion, there’s no argument: you can’t beat an event that focuses on the greatest music and the greatest food in equal fashion. Next week, you can find just that in Washington, D.C. with The Midnite BBQ, “a celebration of food and culture” that boasts an impressive artist line-up and various cuisines from around the city.
First, the music: UK duo AlunaGeorge (“You Know You Like It,” “I’m In Control”) will handle headlining duties, with additional support from Harlem’s Melii, Bay Area star Saweetie, legendary D.C. Go-Go outfit Backyard Band and more. Added to that will be N.O.R.E. and his popular Drink Champs podcast, veteran Hip-Hop journalist Kim Osorio, freakin’ Andy Milonakis and hometown hero Spinser Tracy.
While you’re vibing to the entertainment, you can enjoy plenty of good eats. Chef Roblé Ali will join Little Bacon Bear as host, and chef Andrea Drummer will hopefully be blessing the crowd with her latest infused treats. They’ll be alongside popular D.C. restaurants like Roaming Rooster and Ivy City Smokehouse…throw in hookah, drinks and beautiful people and…you better not miss out.
It all goes down Saturday, May 25th and the Gateway Pavillion in SE. Get your tickets and additional info at The Midnite BBQ’s official website.
