Nipsey Hussle might be gone in the physical sense, but he’ll never be forgotten.
Today DJ Khaled delivered his 11th album Father Of Asahd. Featured on that track is a now-posthumous cut with Nipsey and John Legend titled “Higher”; its accompanying music video ensures that the late Hip-Hop star remains in fans’ thoughts.
In the Eif Rivera-directed video (50 Cent, French Montana, Lil Wayne), we first see an opening tribute to Nipsey, who lost his life on March 31st in a senseless shooting outside his Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles. The music video was cut just days before his death, and it’s said to be Nipsey’s final performance captured on film.

Hey guys,
Hope you’re well.
Leanne here from Listen Up, getting in touch to put a new artist on your radar.
Her name is Lil Keyu, she’s signed by FyreHouse and a young rapper originally from New York who came to light after the release of “Ah Shit!”. Her style of music is along the lines of scream/hardcore rap and she has new music coming titled “Buhshit” – release date is this Friday June 7th.
Listen to the track here (please do not share anywhere): https://www.dropbox.com/s/t1r721zzoh78mbu/Lil%20keyu-%20Buhsit.mp3?dl=0
At just 19-years old, Lil Keyu’s story has been an interesting one; growing up in the NY ghetto she was exposed to fighting and gang violence between blocks, she experienced motherhood from the age of 17, and after approaching FyreHouse CEO Miguel V. Solano last year through Instagram she was brought over to LA and catapulted into the life of a recording artist working hard in the studio daily.
Am keen to get your thoughts on Lil Keyu and her music – are you into her?
Look forward to hearing from you.
