The longest running UK Rap compilation series has returned with yet again another huge collection of underground bangers from forty of the hottest up and coming UK Rappers and Drillers. Recorded and mixed at the ever-popular Defenders Ent studios (the starting block for many established acts including Headie One, SL, Stylo G and Crazy Cousinz to name a few), the album represents the new breed of UK Rap artists, showcasing an array of styles from late night party vibes to a more politically driven sound.
Keeping true to its original double CD/40 track format, this fourth edition comes in time for the label’s 15 year anniversary in December and also drops ahead of their first annual ‘This is UK Rap Awards’, which will be the UK’s first live streamed/social media awards totally supported by the Industry. Newcomers appearing on the album include one’s to watch; Anon, Dirty Harry and Jane Doe (all of which have already accumulating millions of views and streams online).
This Is UK Rap Vol. 4 looks set to be many people’s first taste of such amazing underground talent, just like previous editions which introduced the likes of Stefflon Don, Krept & Konan, Fekky and loads more.
