The biggest day party to hit the DMV has arrived! The 2019 CultureFest will be taking place on June 8th at the National Harbor in Oxen Hill, Maryland. With live performances, a fashion show, good eats and exotic drinks, this event is the perfect summer outing.
One of the most unique factors of this festival is the black Diaspora inspired acts that will be performing. Geared to hit the stage are REGGAE icons Aidonia, Romain Virgo & The Unit Band, Tanto Metro and Devonte. On the SOCA tip, superstars Patrice Roberts, and Skinny Fabulous will also be performing. To continue the bridging together of black communities, Afro beat legend Timaya along with Image Band, will bring the DMV an experience like never before.
Sponsored by DCNowEvents, this musical excursion is a one of a kind. Its sole purpose is to show the DMV how to party with a purpose, as a portion of the proceeds will be donated to charity. Some of these charities include the Lupus Foundation/Color Me Happy Fund and the New Hope Horizon Foundation.
With a strong purpose, incredible talent and a perfect location, the 2019 Culture Fest will be one for the books. Click here to learn more about the latest DMV takeover.
