By being the FIRST BLACK woman in history to headline Coachella, Beyoncé can do no wrong! Here are some statistics of how she can’t be touched. She performed for two hours with 26 songs and had over 100 dancers by her side to make this the most watched performance with over 43 million views.
On Sunday, April 7, Netflix has partnered with Beyoncé to release a film of her Coachella performance. The film is called HOMECOMING. It was promoted by having a yellow background with Greek letters with no context and us, Beyhive fans, knew it was about the Coachella performance. By April being Bey’s month already, she announced prior to the film, Ivy Park will be partnering with Adidas for new clothing items and shoes. Fans are thinking that there will be new music, but we are not sure what the “Me, Myself and I” singer has gotten up under her sleeves but whatever it is we are ready! This film will be legendary after embracing a year of the incredible performance.
That night the Queen has created a vision to the world of a lifetime experience. She originally was supposed to perform in 2017 but with the outstanding news and her doctors told her that she couldn’t perform; she promised her fans that it will be a remarkable experience after giving birth to her twins, Rumi and Sir. With her team, she made sure that this was the event of the century that everyone can remember, if you have seen it digitally or with your own two eyes. By her wardrobe and guest appearances, she definitely set the pace and topping everything she does that there wouldn’t be another performance like it. If you haven’t experienced an HBCU, Beyoncé has definitely made you feel like you were there plus some. Her transitions from one song to another and sampled songs from other musicians are impeccable!
Last year she had released a surprise joint album, Everything Is Love, with Jay-Z, and had went on tour. Beyoncé is out of hibernation and ready to snatch our wigs with what she is about to bring to us this year. She will also star in the remake of Lion King that is set to release on July 19.
Let’s go back to the night of when culture was made and relive some moments before the film is set to drop.
