What a day for R. Kelly fans. The embattled singer ended up on CBS, sitting down with Gayle King to try and clear his name in light of new sexual abuse charges (10 counts, to be exact). Naturally, it pretty much went the other direction, as Kelly lost control of his emotions in front of a poised King, answering direct questions as if many of us didn’t admittedly watch a certain street tape two decades ago.
That interview (which also featured Kelly’s girlfriends) premiered today, which you can check out below; unfortunately, the day continued to go downhill for Kelly, as he ended up back in police custody after failing to pay more than $160 thousand in child support before his deadline. Somewhere, that daycare owner is probably taking a long look in the mirror.
