Houston artist Polowill releases his debut single “NWTS (Never Was the Same)” prod. Kid Houston. The 23 year rapper wrote his first song at the age of 7. What seemed like destiny for the Houston rapper was paused at the age of 12 when his mother, who encouraged him to pursue music went to Federal prison.

In 2017 he gained his confidence back and continued to write and create music as he released a remix to Cardi B’s “She Bad” and with his recent release of NTWS (Never Was The Same). NTWS is about a chick that Polowill helped get back on her feet who left him once she became stable. Like other Houston rappers such as Big Moe, Z-Ro and Big Pokey he uses the same slow down south beats complimented with southern swagger and story telling. “I find inspitarion all around me. I try to make my music represent myself and my genration. I love the places that most people don’t give a second chance” he said. He is currently working on his debut project.
