Beacon Light is always pushing the envelope and never waiting on someone to give him the green light to be himself. The rapper has consistently stuck to his true self and has received nothing but love for that!
With that said, Beacon’s newest single/video, “Call Me Napoleon” is all about being yourself and not having any fear in that. The song is catchy and the video will bring you back in time to when one of the funniest movies of all time came out (don’t @ us).
“Napoleon Dynamite is an awkward movie. We all know that. But somehow Napoleon still stands out as one of the coolest “losers” in the whole film. He is himself even if he doesn’t fit in. For me, that’s what the song is about. I’m going to be myself regardless of if it goes against the grain. I make trap music, lyrical music, and apparently, also music that sounds like it could be in a Napoleon Dynamite soundtrack.” – Beacon Light
