Hip Hop has seen a resurgence of the wordsmith in recent years, with lyrically-inclined MCs not only shining but collaborating at an all-time high. The latest of such is the pairing of New York City MCs Joell Ortiz and Fred The Godson. Both men have garnered much praise for their chops on the microphone but in an added twist, their joint project is produced entirely by the legendary Harlem collective known as The Heatmakerz.
Titled “Gorilla Glue,” the 9-track project features contributions from Jim Jones and DramaB2R. Before checking out the project, check out their newly released visual for “Hallways.”
