Make no mistake: Rico Love is a marksman with these addictive tunes. Whether in the spotlight himself (“They Don’t Know”) or behind the boards/pen (way too many hits to name), the talent that is Richard Preston Butler, Jr. seems to be making songs effortlessly, creating infectious jams that have garnered him awards and high chart placements for a decade.
Back in December, he delivered a pretty-damn-slept-on project titled Even Kings Die, and on that release comes the slow groove “Shine” — this week, fans get to check out a new visual for that single courtesy of director Parris Stewart. Check it out below.
