Mykele Deville dropped his latest project ‘Maintain’ on all streaming platforms with the help of No Trend Records. Rapper, poet and educator Deville is excited about his fans listening to the album. He released his leading single, “Type Love,” that includes a visual. The single represents the album, and it is about where we fall in love with ourselves before we fall in love with others. It is a smooth r&b ballad that showcases his talent within amongst of others. The project is divided but has a definite meaning of the true definition of maintaining yourself in different situations. It is a motivation project that dedicates to the black community. The Chicago native puts out a seven song project that describes us, African-Americans, to fight through certain perceptions in our lives to fight through but in the process you will have triumph along the way. It is for us to heal with our personal self to whom it will listen to. He will be performing at the Lincoln Hall on Sunday, March 3 in representation of the album.
