Twenty-Four year old Newark, New Jersey rapper Maui Max, has released his 5-Track EP #MauiMondays 2. This release is the sequel to a series of tracks he calls MauiMondays. His New Jersey flair and unique sound makes this a must listen.
In the past he collaborated with artists such as Sy Ari Da Kid, Quentin Miller, and Damar Jackson. For this project he enlisted the artist LaCo, who murdered the chorus on his “Options” song. Also featured on this mixtape is talented songstress Milla Arioso.
For the past 5 weeks every Monday, Max has been dropping a record to complete his #MauiMondays 2 EP. He courageously discusses his struggles with depression and drug addiction, and how he was able to overcome.
As he is an advocate for mental illness, Max is using his musical gifts to help and heal. Press play below to stream Maui Max’s latest material.
