I can’t lie: this one is definitely growing on me. Following his performance of the T-Minus-produced cut at this year’s NBA All-Star weekend, J. Cole liberates a dark, booming visual for “MIDDLE CHILD,” which shows everything from Cole enjoying a literal victory lap of sorts to dead bodies in a morgue, revealed underneath constant darkness. Shout out to Lute, who’s seen driving J. Cole in a Bentley through the mud, Dreamville flag in tow (Cole reveals that Omen makes a cameo as well).
