Titled “Afro Drill,” Omo’s latest single is a perfect blend of (UK) Drill and Afrobeats, and is said to have been born our of inspiration from French artist MMD‘s successful “Afro Trap.”
“Afro Drill was designed to bring a more fun to drill music and remove any talk of gang or violent influence.”
The track was originally premiered via Kenny Allstar‘s show on BBC 1Xtra and comes accompanied by a dope, dance-heavy visual courtesy of Moe Musa and Defenders Ent. Check that out below and — if you’re feeling it — pick up the single here.
