R&B singer Martha Afework will be headlining an epic show at the Fillmore via Live Nation and NatureBoi Music. The Silver Springs location is known for breaking a lot of great talent that is thriving in the DMV area, in which Afework is a perfect fit.
Her Ethiopian roots infused with the DC culture, truly makes her a one of a kind. She is very raw and real making it easy to connect with her concrete lyrics. As she has found much success doing many covers, in 2019 she wants the world to experience the power in her own words and sound.
To assist her on this show, DMV natives Funsho and Eddie Vanz will also be performing. As they are both respected artists, who possess originality, they fit right in with Afework.
The magic is set to take place on Thursday Feb. 7th at the Fillmore in Silver Springs, MD. As DCNowEvents will be sponsoring this event, you can expect good vibes, good energy and most importantly great music.
