This year, it looks like the Academy Awards is done with its one-race exclusivity — in addition to movies like Roma and The Favourite, more diverse films like BlacKkKlansman and freakin’ Black Panther have also earned big Oscar nods (Black Panther alone has seven). Added to that, Kendrick Lamar and SZA scored a Best Song nomination for the Black Panther track “All The Stars.” Amazing.
