Renowned Oakland songwriter Jane Handcock has crafted hit lyrics for some of the greats, but when her own gorgeous vocals take center stage, it’s nothing short of MAGIC. Her latest solo offering, Where’s Jane? 1.5, is a journey through the many moods of this versatile artist, from the lighthearted party vibe of “Function” to the introspective and meditative “SixFourSeven.” Jane also collaborated with mentor Adrian Marcel on ballad “Ain’t S**t,” rounding out the 8-song project that was just released on all platforms after her breathtaking performance at the Fa La La Holiday Bash in Hollywood last month (where Keke Palmer jumped on stage at the star-studded event to let everyone know just how special Ms. Handcock is)!
Where’s Jane? 1.5 is just a taste of much more creativity to come from Jane Handcock, as years of fire lyrics combine with the presence of a rising star. Stepping into the spotlight may not have been her plan when she started working behind the scenes with artists like Kelly Rowland and Raphael Saadiq. But now that Jane has found herself front and center, we are SO glad she’s here… Listen to Where’s Jane? 1.5 below and keep her in sight while you can!
