Northern Philadelphia-Bred Independent Artist Ayo 215 Signs With Roc Nation

Philadelphia’s own Ayo 215 has been making a name for himself in the music industry and his hard work and tenacity have not gone unnoticed, especially by major labels. Home to Mack Wilds, Justine Skye and, Jaden and Willow Smith, Ayo 215 has officially joined the Roc Nation family as of December 2018. Roc Nation will be releasing a new version of Ayo215’s single “Bother You” featuring Lil’ Baby, known for hit single “Yes Indeed” feat. Grammy award-winning artist Drake. The first released audio via YouTube has already received over 104K views.

His hip-hop and Latin trap aesthetic has attracted a large array of loyal fans with over 42k Instagram followers and over 4M total views on YouTube. Only about a little shy of a year in the music industry, Ayo 215 has managed to rack up radio spins and over hundreds of thousands of downloads and streams for his music. After his two older brothers advised him to leave the street life of North Philly behind and refocus his energy and talents, the signing has become surreal to Ayo 215 that he has spoken into existence his dream of being signed to Roc Nation a few years back.

In 2017, Ayo215 released his first official hit single, “Back Up Off Me” , which gained millions of plays on Soundcloud alone. Closing out 2018 with a bang by signing with a major label, Ayo215 has a schedule set for 2019 that is merely a set up for the rest of his success. Ayo215 has a few unannounced shows set up along the East Coast with heavy emphasis on the NYC and DMW areas. Additionally, he has landed a collaboration deal with fashion accessories brand Sprayground.
