But that’s New York City, 60 miles north of where Newburgh, a small but resilient city that, while it may not have the glitzy history, it has Jacques Laine, & considering his newest release, “Check In,” that may be enough to generate some buzz.
Set to the tone of thumping production that makes you bang your head, without feeling overwhelmed, “Check In” is Laine rapping at his absolute best. Bridging together infectious cadences & witty lyrics, he sets the table perfectly for his impending full length project. With a solid track to accompany an equally impressive work ethic, the sky could be the limit for Jacques Laine.
