Jamaican Social Media Star DyDy Releases New Music "Stress Free" Produced by Track Starr

Jamaican social media star and recording artiste DyDy returns with to the music scene with an upbeat new dancehall smash. “Stress Free” is the official follow-up to the girl-anthem “2 Can”, which racked up over 2 million streaks & counting. The song is produced by Track Starr.

With over 390,000 followers on Instagram alone, DyDy used her social media influence and comedic skills to build a platform for her music. Last year, she was named LargeUp’s Toppa Top 10 Caribbean Women Artistes on the Rise, and “Stress Free” debuted at #4 on the Apple Music Reggae charts within an hour of its release. It’s currently at #2.

“Stress Free” is a playful, empowering anthem for everyone who wishes to live their best “stress-free” life. Inspired by real life experiences, DyDy uses her music to motivate not just others, but herself.

“I think I am growing and evolving and becoming this big, strong woman who don’t have time for the foolishness. My main focus is on this big transition that I’ve been doing from the [social media] videos to the music. That has been my plan from day one – to build a platform for my music.

Just like with ‘2 Can’, I was going through something so I linked Track Starr at the studio. We started vibing, and I was like yo, we need another girl anthem right now. I’m promoting independence among women.”
