Alexander Nate has recent released his EP, ‘Red Canary,‘ that paints a vivid picture about love lost, family, and hopes for a lost soul. The Virginia native makes it easier for us to hear many influences of the Motown era in his story and melodic voice. If you are familiar with Sam Cooke and Nina Simone, his voice is very in tuned.
Alexander says, “This EP is a reflection of a simpler time in my life, before all that comes at you, when you leave your hometown.” His release “Snakes” from the EP, ‘Red Canary,’ has over 150,000 plays and still counting. Peep his EP below.
