Traditionally, the west coast is known to have a more laid back, ambient sound. While the south has boasted mostly dance/trap music & the east hangs it hat on lyrical breakthroughs, the West has always prioritized relaxing. Sticking to the theme, California rep — by way of New England — Casey Grigg checks in for the first time with his groovy new video, “If The Shoe Fits.”
Visually backed by a trippy purple filter and what looks like a rural backdrop, “If The Shoe Fits,” is a slow, but infectious track that plays perfectly into Grigg’s overall brand and theme. While today’s landscape calls for trap synths and heavy 808s, it’s refreshing to hear Grigg’s smooth, calm style shine throughout the video.
