Having money is one of life’s greatest pleasures, but to some people, the art of getting paid is just a bit more sweeter than spending. The hustle is where the action is, & the action is where the passion lays. D.C. native Chris Allen touches on this notion for his new video, “Paid.”
Set to the backdrop of New York City & soundtracked to silky smooth, boom-bap production, “Paid” is probably my favorite song from Chris Allen to date. While his energy is a bit more lethargic on this one than usual, the laid back style is refreshing to hear & perfectly compliments the accompanying visuals. With a solid catelog of releases in 2018, it’s only a matter of time before the D.C. native gets his shine.
