Las Vegas, or better known as Sin City, is known as an adult playground. The countless clubs, pool parties and beautiful disasters have made the the town infamous. Now imagine growing up there… You’re essentially trained to party, & Las Vegas native Zelly Vibes does just that in her crazy new video for, “OMG.”
Directed by GIOVISUALS, the video takes you on a journey with Zelly and she tries to recall an apparently legendary night. One that includes a poppin’ hotel party, plenty of alcohol, beautiful women and rides through the streets, peeking out the sun roof. While a hungover Zelly tries to remember, the video takes you through a fun ride, soundtracked to infectious production from AngelTFC & some of Zelly’s best cadences to date.
We caught up with Zelly to talk about the making of the video, as well as what’s to come next!
RESPECT. Mag: Where did the idea for the video come from?
Zelly Vibes: We worked with creative director Zenrose and Gio Visuals who both teamed up implementing their ideas and mine. We wanted something fun, highlighting the growth in my career, celebrating with family and friends in my home town.
RESPECT.: Talk about how it all came together with the party and everything. It looked crazy!
Zelly Vibes: When you watch the video you will see some dope cameos. We invited the best of the best all influencers, people who are going after their dreams. I wanted to use my video shoot as a platform for everyone in the party to meet each other. Of course we had to have the party scene celebrating our achievements but we also wanted to include simplicity and my aesthetic in the outdoor scenes.
RESPECT.: Is, “OMG” a single off an upcoming project?
Zelly Vibes: I’m still exploring with my sound, I was working on features this year and did not drop Music on my own for a year, My audience needed music from me so we decided to drop it as a single. It was actually a project but “OMG” has being doing so well we just gonna keep dropping music until I feel like we ready to drop a project, I think a body of work like that takes time and shouldn’t be rushed. We wanted to show the audience what my sound is like now just to prepare them for what’s coming.
RESPECT.: What can people expect from you, to finish out 2018?
Zelly Vibes: My audience wanted Turnt Up Zelly Vibes, so that’s what they can expect. A lot of energy, a lot of growth and good vibes.
Check out the video for, “OMG” below & be sure to keep up with Zelly Vibes.
