Central Islip, NY native, C-POT, samples a highly recognizable classic with his latest release “City Is Mine.” He delivers a completely different sound in comparison to the popular Jay-Z version, which relates to the styles today.
Christian Poterson is one of two children in a family of four. His entire childhood was surrounded by music. His father Christopher Poterson was an avid music producer, cinematographer, as well as manager for many artists in the Long Island, NY area.
C-POT grew up attending school for acting, and being heavily involved in theatre production. Once C-POT hit his late teen years he had decided to go the scholarly route and get his degree in economics at the University at Albany (SUNY). However like many other college students, college didn’t lead him in the exact path he thought it would. Instead, he chose to chase the dream and pursue a career in music.
