Nipsey Hussle continues his campaign push in the final quarter of the year after an almost year-long run releasing visuals to support his major debut studio album, Victory Lap. Nipsey delivers a 11-minute video to “Double Up” featuring Dom Kennedy and Belly. Nip’s core fans continue to attach themselves to the messages and parables in each South Central L.A. story told.
With the All Money In CEO finishing the 4th Quarter with a expected victory, the rollout has exceeded many expectations. “Double Up” is produced by Teddy Walton with cameos from actor Jackie Long and Nipsey’s real life girlfriend Lauren London who has been the co-star in several visuals for Hussle’s Victory Lap records. “We wanted to expand on the idea of [the song] by telling a story of an abandoned love affair between a young hustler and his girl,” Hussle explained to Billboard, breaking down the concepts behind the “Double Up” visual. “The lifestyle ends up being too much for the girl and she leaves unexpectedly.”
