UPDATE: Little Simz and some dope dancers are the centerpieces of her new visual for “Offence,” directed by Charlie Di Placido and Josh Lloyd Watson. It’s been added above for your viewing pleasure.
London lyricist Little Simz is back with some new heat for Autumn. Above lies her new single “Offence,” her first drop since her “Morning” visual back in April (I think). She explained the guitar-driven cut during a recent catch-up with Zane Lowe on Beats 1:
“I just wanted it to feel very unapologetic, very ballsy, and I think times like this especially, the current state the way the world is, it’s not time to be silenced… It’s time to speak up and speak your truth about things you feel.”
Check out “Offence” above and cross your fingers that Simz’ official follow-up to 2016’s Stillness in Wonderland is arriving soon.
