The Las Vegas Hip-Hop scene has been on the rise lately. Over the past year, we’ve seen guys like Big Homie Stone, Zotiyac and Richie Bux develop a viable lane for Vegas natives, as well as breakthroughs on the other side like being given its own Hometown Heroes Audiomack playlist. Though not a rapper, Las Vegas native Trend$etta has been a staple in the scene for years and he taps his friends AD, Lil’ Wop, Rayvyn Justice and more for his high-octane new tape, Trendsetta Gvng Vol. 1.
Only 10-tracks-long, Vol. 1 is a solid body of work, that serves as a dope showcase for the artists included. As evidenced on the previously released single, “Forever,” which features Russcoson and Love Rance, the energy on the project is high and there aren’t many moments in between to breathe. Particularly during the 1-2 punch of, “Affiliated,” the AD and Landlord assisted banger and, “Sin City,” a chilling ode to the town that has made this tape possible.
Closing it out with Lil Wop’s infectious, “Impostors” track, Vol. 1 establishes itself as a snapshot into the ever-growing Las Vegas Hip-Hop scene, with a few friends along for the ride to emphasize the impact. Check out the tape below and be sure to get familiar with Trend$etta.
