Amari Ruff started Sudu, a trucking company based out of Atlanta, Ga in 2015. He made a decision to his leave his job in the telecom industry with aspirations of building a company with growth-potential in the trucking and tech industry. Ruff took a chance on faith and it proved to be rewarding juxtaposed to the risks. The Atlanta-based trucking company reportedly worth eight figures. Sudu provides a platform that matches shippers and carriers based upon route optimization for commerical companies such as Walmart (one of its first enterprise clients) and Anheuser–Busch beverage and brewing company.
Amari began his entrepreneurial career starting a telecommunications company in 2010, with $300 and a 1990 Ford Ranger. He has built the business to almost 200 trucks and five locations across the U.S.
He subsequently cut deals with P&G, Delta Airlines, Georgia Pacific and UPS. Sudu now has over 300,000 trucking companies within its network and is generating millions in revenue.
