Tennessee has a rich tradition of music coming from the state. Not only is it known as the birth place of Country Music, but in Hip-Hop, we’ve had new and old cultural mainstays alike in Juicy J, Bloccboy, Young Dolph & everybody favorite producer of the moment, Tay Kieth. Hailing from the college town of Knoxville, natives L0ST B0YS hope to be next in line as they check back in with their new single, “Korean Hard Drive.”
Featuring some absolutely haunting production from EVRGRNS, the track features two of the four members off of the L0ST B0YS roster. Thelodaboi (formerly known as Thelo-Que) and Savedthehills share the space over this airy, yet well defined production that could not be more appropriate for its Sunday release.
Dissonant keys set the backdrop as Thelo starts it off, “All of L0ST TAPES is saved on a Korean Hard Drive.” As he navigates through rhymes about being too stoned to differentiate between blood and ketchup, and learning the proper dosage when munching on some fungi, the mood is ever so apparent.
By the time he gets into the hook you might even find yourself singing along off-key. Savedthehills delivers a second verse that feels like it’s being filtered through a drug filled haze, and just like that the track is over. This is only the start for these bright young artists and it’s a great place to begin. Check out “Korean Hard Drive” below!
