Milan, the 18th of September, saw the launch event for the first delivery of the Colmar project entitled A.G.E. (Advanced Garment Exploration). Shayne Oliver, the debut talent to gain exclusive access to Colmar’s Research and Development room, where designers and talent are enlisted to reinterpret Colmar’s DNA with unfeted access to the brand’s historical archives. The talented designer Shayne Oliver presented two collections: the first drop launched at select global stores on 18.09.18, and will be followed by the second drop during the next sales campaign.
The debut Colmar A.G.E Collection by Shayne Oliver was presented on models (some of which featured in the campaign and film, shot in Austria) within specially themed rooms at the Dazio di Ponente of the Arco della Pace, where guests experienced the elements of Oliver’s inspiration – from an arctic snow theme, complete with snow drops falling from the sky, to a magical walk through an autumnal forest, leading to a frozen enchanted land. Culminating with a room featuring a sensational explosion of floor to ceiling mirrors.
