Following his Tru EP in 2016, R&B veteran Lloyd is back with a full play of the same name, his first official album since 2011’s King Of Hearts (yep, it’s been that long). This go ’round, the NOLA-to-ATL star delivers 11 7 new tracks and additional appearances from Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Khujo Goodie, Sevyn Streeter, River and the Spelman Women’s Choir. He also explains the project via social media:
Three things cannot be hidden for long: The Sun, The Moon, and the Truth. No matter how much you try to hide, the truth must come to light. Embrace it. Bask in it. Let it lead your identity. Truth is, you can only love another as much as you love yourself. And by being real with yourself at all times, you will find a supreme clarity and become surrounded Less and less by things that drag you down and uplifted more and more by Love and Honesty.
