The “Mo Mamba” artist has been buzzing lately by recently performing at Made in America Festival during Labor Day weekend. Sheck Wes started doing music at the age of 11 and started perfecting his craft. He signed a joint deal with Kanye West and Travis Scott with Interscope Records and took off from there. The 19-year-old wows his audience with his passionate sounds and lyrics. Overall, he wants to be respected for his artistry and not by just knowing people.
The Harlem native has proven that he could do any sport by calling himself the Renaissance. By having hoop dreams that conflicted with modeling gigs, his future is torn between the two. Once he got back from Africa, he put all of his energy into his music and that put quality over quantity in the state of mind. He connects very well in his hometown by showing love and giving back to the community.
According to HipHopDX, Sheck recently was on campaign with Footaction’s ‘No One Way’, in where the platform represents style and individuality. He was asked to curate a lookback for back to school of Footaction products’ by setting a trend for the community to create their own paths.
A true visionary for the New York Community. This is a fact. His song “Mo Bamba” is climbing the charts and his name rings more bells each day. Once the beat drops from the singles “Mo Bamba,” “Live Sheck Wes, Die Sheck Wes” and his newest drop “Chippi Chippi,” the youth begins to turn into a frenzy. This is what you call the definition of artistry. Being your own individual self no matter who is around. He gets so much love from the youth, that’s exactly why he is ahead of the game. Peep the latest visuals.
