Wale continues to build new momentum following his departure from Atlantic and signing to Warner Bros., mainly thanks to his latest EPs It’s Complicated and Self Promotion.
Keeping the ball rolling, the D.C. emcee is back with a visual for the It’s Complicated cut “Black Bonnie,” which features Jaquees. The clip — directed by Yasha Gruben — sees Wale and his Black Bonnie at different moments in time and history, from what looks like tribal African royalty to the Black Panther movement (and more).
Vibe to Folarin’s latest above.
