As you may know, Ty Dolla $ign has been in the game heavy! You may wonder why Nate Dogg is in comparison with him. To be honest, they have some unique similarities.
I know you all remember Nate Dogg singing “in different area codes” with Ludacris back in the 2000’s. With him collaborating with Warren G’s “Regulate,” Nate made a name for himself and later was recognized as a powerful collab pioneer in our younger years. The late great Nate is a soul collaborator way back when, who was featured on, Fabolous “Can’t Deny It,” 50 Cent’s “21 Questions,” and many more. Dogg has the soulfulness but uptempo tone that you couldn’t help to hear in many songs. He is one of the goats in our prime that we should highlight in this generation of music.
Nate’s voice by himself on a record is something that many people won’t look forward to, but put him on the record with the hottest artists out now; and I bet you that his voice will be the element to the song. This is the same with Ty. Even though people confuse him with a rapper, as his name stands out as a rapper, he changed that by giving us a unique soulness of a voice. It’s ironic that the two are from California so they give you that California vibe. Both are implementing their voices to have the record to be hot and top the charts as they should. Believe it or not Ty Dolla $ign is the new era of Nate Dogg.
Who would have ever known that “Toot it and Boot It,” ten years later, will be still spinning and remembered as Ty’s first placement to get to where he is now. $ign is a king collaborator of many projects from the first half of the year and many more. For example, Kanye West’s ‘Ye’, Teyana Taylor’s ‘K.T.S.E.’, Kid Cudi’s ‘Kids See Ghosts’ and many more. With his talent and stamina, he will soon to be a legend! In a few years from now, I can see that he will be headlining his own tour and bring out big name artists that he worked with and which fans will vibe to it. If you haven’t been to his Don’t Judge Me Tour, then you missed out! If you don’t think that these two legendary artists are identical after me explaining then peep the two videos of the California singers below.
Would you dive into being the “regulators” or be shining into “the light?” Get it?
