I gotta say, this is probably the “quietest” that Gucci Mane has been this decade (especially in comparison to his last few years). Following “Solitaire,” it looks like he’s ready to keep his 2018 album momentum going with the new single “Kept Back,” which features Floridian king of the youth Lil Pump.
He recently premiered the track via Zane Lowe on Apple Music’s Beats 1, where he briefly spoke on how the collab came together:
“I just feel that [Pump] got a lot of energy… I’m a big fan of Pump. He makes good music, so I wanted to collab with him.”
