Sioux City is a town in Iowa that boasts about 80,000 residents, which qualifies it to be the 4th largest city Iowa. A quick Google search tells you that the city takes pride in it’s scenery & that it’s one of the bigger attractions of the town. One thing that’s not mentioned much, is Hip-Hop. 25-year-old native, Tae Groove is here to change that with his new project, New Waves, Old Ways.
Sitting at 11 tracks & clocking in at 37 minutes long, New Waves, Old Ways is a solid peek into who Groove is as an artist & a man. Songs like, “Feel Alive” highlight an artist searching for realization through vices like women and alcohol, while “Innergy” & “Lifestyle” are two certified bangers to ride too.
Without a doubt, though, the standout track from the project is, “Live My Life,” which was wisely chosen as the lead single and given the video treatment. Although Groove floats through most of the project, giving us a few new cuts to bop to, the hook on this one just puts it on another level.
Check out the video for, “Live My Life” above as well as Groove’s new project, New Waves, Old Ways below.
